TBDC actively promotes the performance and of Trisha’s choreography by professional and student dancers around the globe.
The Company’s Education and Outreach program includes worldwide workshops, master classes and lecture demonstrations. Selected works from Trisha Browns 40 years of repertory are licensed to educational institutions and professional companies worldwide and are regularly restaged with dance students and professional companies in the USA and abroad. This season TBDC further partners with several institutions of higher education worldwide, including New York University, Centre National de Danse Contemporaine, Angers (France) and Belgium’s professional training program P.A.R.T.S.

Bard College - Annandale-On-Hudson, NY
The last year of a 3-year residency at Bard College which includes a year-round teaching presence, interdisciplinary courses offered through the undergraduate Dance & Film departments, and the Center for Curatorial Studies graduate program. In addition, to workshops, open rehearsal, lectures and culminates with a company performance season of current repertory.
Dancewave - New York, NY

Current TBDC dancer Leah Ives will create a staging of “Set and Reset/Reset” in New York City with 15-18 year old students of Dancewave culminating with 2 performances on May 17 & 18, 2018.
The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, School of Dance – Hong Kong, China

Associate Artistic Director Diane Madden will create a staging of “Set and Reset/Reset” with students from the HKAPA. The project will consist of morning technique class, afternoon rehearsals and performances that will take place at the end of the residency.
Centre National de Danse Contemporaine - Angers, France
April 16-28
A two-week workshop on Trisha Brown Repertory. It will consist of a morning technique class and an afternoon repertory workshop.
Emory University – Atlanta, GA
2017-2018
This year long residency hosted by the Emory Dance program began with a “Creativity Conversation” featuring Associate Artistic Director Carolyn Lucas and TBDC alumni Jamie Scott in September. The conversation can be viewed on YouTube. While on campus, Jamie taught a series of created a staging of "Solo Olos" with the Emory Dance Company, that was performed as part of the company's fall concert in November 2017. In April 2018, the Trisha Brown Dance Company will perform "Trisha Brown: In Plain Site," a site-specific work, on the Emory Campus.
2018 Summer Dance Residency at New York University– New York, NY
June 11-15
Daily Classes and workshops open to visting and current students at NYU. Classes all week will be focusing on Trisha Brown’s movement principles and repertory, with lecture demonstrations from TBDC Alumni.
